Will Shuri Become Black Panther? The kingdom of Wakanda is a little bit different now as it has been revealed to the world. The first Black Panther movie introduced us to T'Challa, the original Black Panther. Unfortunately, Chadwick Boseman the actor who played the Black Panther passed away in 2020 due to a terminal illness. But what about the second movie? So there is already a stronger foundation for Shuri than any other character to carry the mantle of Black Panther. The bond established between Shuri and T'Challa in the first Black Panther movie gives greater context to her future role in the MCU. During this time Black Panther was in a coma and there was no one leading the great nation of Wakanda. Although initially, Shuri had rejected the position claiming she was way too arrogant for the prestigious title of the Black Panther. Later on, she changed her mind seeing the suffering and impending doom that were to follow after Norman Osborne's attack on Wakanda. Such clues give us insight into the possibility of Shuri becoming the next Black Panther.
